The July 4th Celebration Committee invites you to participate in Boise's annual parade celebrating our Nation’s Independence Day.

The Parade is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 at 11 AM.

This year's parade theme is: The Good in America

To ensure your entry a spot in the parade, please fill out the entry form below and send your payment by June 27, 2017 to:

We the People 4th of July Celebration Committee
P.O. Box 532
Boise, ID 83701

$12.00 for walking groups
$22.00 for Single Car Entry’s
$32.00 for a non-profit float and multiple vehicle entries.
$52.00 for a commercial float and multiple vehicle entries.

These fees help pay for the various expenses accrued in putting on the parade including the liability insurance we are required to carry. Additionally, they allow us to provide a cash prize to the winning entries this year’s parade.

The 4th of July Celebration Committee has “Preferred Placement” for entrants again this year. For an extra $10 you can reserve a spot in the top 30 positions. Please select "Top 30" on the entry form below and send your payment immediately as "Top 30" spots are granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Approval of your "Top 30" request is dependent on past year's compliance with rules and parade theme.

Please contact the Parade offices at (208) 991-8527 to verify that there are "Top 30" spots still available. Your spot will be secured once your payment is received, otherwise it will be released for another entry to fill.

Payment for the entry fee is to be made to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization, “We the People 4th of July Celebration Committee.”

Floats will be judged by a committee according to the way they reflect and express this year’s theme. Awards will be given as soon as possible after judging is completed.

Please carefully read the Parade and Float Rules. The Committee works hard all year to make our parade the best it can be. To accomplish this, we need your cooperation. In the past, entrants’ non-compliance with the rules, and the ignoring of parade officials’ instructions, has caused difficulties. This reduces the enjoyment of the parade for everyone. To ensure the ongoing success of the parade, we need the spokesperson for each entry to accept the responsibility to see that the parade rules and all instructions from parade officials are followed. Any complaints the committee receives will result in the assessment of penalties, which could mean being banned from future parades. Any fees assessed will be the responsibility of the non-complying entry.
