FAQ

Q. Where is the parade held?
A. Downtown Boise. Click here to view the parade route.

Q. What time does the parade start?
A. In 2017, the parade will be held on July 4th at 11 AM sharp. It is good to come early so you can get your favorite spot.

Q. What about parking?
A. There is no parking available along the parade route. Since July 4th is a holiday, there should be parking available a few blocks away from the parade and you can walk in. Click here to see a map of downtown parking spaces.

Q. Can my kids bring water guns and water balloons?
A. As a spectator, you are as much a part of the parade as the floats you are enjoying. We do ask that you refrain from spraying any floats that do not have water on board. Many floats will be damaged by water. We also ask that you refrain from spraying any floats with senior citizens or young children, as well as antique and expensive cars. The general rule is: Don’t spray unless sprayed upon. Thanks for participating in Boise’s 4th of July Parade.

Q. How do I pay for my entry fee?
A. You have two options to pay for your entry fee. You may mail the check to: We the People, P.O. Box 532, Boise, ID 83701. Or, you may email the appropriate entry fee plus a $3.00 service charge to: boiseparade@gmail.com

Q. Are vendors allowed on the parade route or to work the parade?
A. Vendors are not allowed in or on the parade route. However they can set up near the route, where they will not interfere with people watching the parade.
